Trash to Treasure
This Erasmus+ KA2-You project seeks to empower young people to engage in reuse, recycling, and repair within the digital and creative sectors, fostering sustainable practices and preparing them for emerging green jobs.
The project aims to raise awareness about environmental challenges linked to digital production and consumption, while enhancing professional skills in areas such as creative reuse, 3D design, digital fabrication, and electronics repair.
Key activities include sensitization events, interactive Web Desk services, local pilot workshops, and a seven-day international mobility program in Belgium.
Expected outcomes include a series of thematic podcasts, a dedicated online support service, innovative curricula, and strengthened youth capacity for sustainability-driven careers in the circular economy.

Objectives
- Raise youth awareness about sustainability in digital crafts, including recycling, reuse, and repair.
- Develop practical professional skills for green jobs in areas such as creative reuse, 3D design, digital fabrication, and electronics repair.
Duration: Trash to Treasure runs for 23 months, from february 2025 until December 2026.
Implementation Activities
- Sensitization events to introduce youth to sustainability topics.
- Web Desk services for interaction and guidance from partner organizations.
- Local pilot workshops offering hands-on learning in digital and physical repair and reuse.
- A 7-day international mobility program in Naples, where participants develop and present final projects with expert support.



Ayamola Topic

AYAMOLA focuses on creative reuse art, transforming recycled materials into artworks and electronic instruments. Through this practice, they explore the intersection of art, technology, and sustainability, with a strong emphasis on material reuse.

- Curricula developed for CAD, digital fabrication, and electronics repair.
